Our hotel rooms

Hotel Bergen Børs, located on the upper floors of the old stock exchange building at Torgalmenningen, inaugurated in 1862, is Bergen's most fashionable hotel. With one of Bergen's absolute best restaurants. The suites are something completely out of the ordinary, and not least the suite in the former office of the stock exchange manager. The hotel has 127 rooms and suites that satisfy the highest expectations. Specially designed furniture combined with Scandinavian design gives the interior a distinctive character.

Food and drink

On the hotel's 3rd floor is Bare Restaurant, the first Michelin-starred restaurant in Bergen. The gourmet restaurant serves multi-course menus that vary with the season and access to good ingredients. The creative flavors are based on Nordic cuisine and the ingredients of the fjord landscape. As a guest, you will experience an adventurous food expedition that challenges, inspires and surprises.

The bar is located in the old Chamber of Commerce Hall. This is considered one of the city's, and perhaps Norway's, most beautiful bars. This is the city's hidden gem. Bar with exclusive interior, good drinks and a pleasant atmosphere. Welcome to the city's coolest bar!

Frescohallen - A spectacular historic building and former stock exchange uniquely combined with a modern all-day restaurant and bar concept. With the beautiful frescoes by Axel Revold and the great acoustics, it is no wonder that since its reopening in 2022 it has become one of Bergen's it-restaurants.

Bareksten Experience Room – Stig Bareksten and OSS Craft Distillery have opened a gin tasting room in the Frescohallen premises. Here, groups of 8-40 people can try everything from cocktail safaris to Gin Tonic master classes.

Arrival

The nearest parking garage is in the monastery garage, where our guests receive a 15% discount when registering their license plate number at the reception. It is possible to stop outside the hotel by car and take out luggage before parking the car.
